Become Captain of an interstellar freighter

Become Captain of an interstellar freighter Interstellar freighters are large, expensive capital ships that offer a significant range of benefits to their captain, including a mobile base and significant inventory storage. To buy a freighter, board it and speak to the current captain. Travellers seeking to acquire a freighter for free are advised to warp to nearby systems and search for a freighter under attack by pirates. The crew will be grateful for their rescue, and volunteer their services for free. See Freighters entry in the 'Making Money' section of the Guide for further details.
