Some worlds are rich in fossil beds. Travellers can exhume the ancient bones of long-extinct creatures for collection, preservation, and display.

To assemble a fossil, first acquire the blueprints for a Fossil Display from the Construction Research Station aboard the Space Anomaly. A Fossil Display can be deployed anywhere on a planetary surface, or within a freighter base.

Once a display is deployed, ancient bones can be arranged upon it to re-create countless animal forms. A complete fossil requires a skull, a ribcage, two sets of limbs, and a tail.

Create a museum of assembled fossils at your base, or package your exhibits for trade on the open market, or with other Travellers. Find alien Fossil Collectors to trade with aboard Space Stations, or at planetary Palaeontological Digs.
