My intrusion has triggered some sort of scrambled shutdown. Even over the sound of the alarm, I can hear the rumble of elements cascading away through the pipes. The terminal blinks a warning:
Warning! Catalyst overload! Circuit board technology overheat warning!
It seems that the system is struggling to cope with the overflow. An automated emergency stop is about to be issued.
Dialogue choices
Override security alert
Overriding the security alert immediately stops the alarm. With no reason to prolong the shutdown process, the facility's AI reverses the element cascade and returns system to normal.
Continue dialogue
Some requirements or outcomes are not yet mapped.
Inject coolant
I activate the facility's coolant injectors. The cascade continues, but the warnings become less severe. Eventually, they stop. The problem has been brought under control, though the facility is substantially less wealthy.
