Expeditions are a great way for us to try out new ideas that we think players would enjoy, but wouldn't necessarily fit with the core game. Almost little experiments or alternative realities. In some ways, Emergence is a love letter to the likes of Dune, but we had a lot of fun making our own body-horror themed lore for this. There is a creepy side to sci-fi that is so fun to explore.
