Boundary Failure

– kztttzzzzzzzkt – I see you. I see all of – kzzkt – DEAD

To see this forsaken flicker of an entity, to hear their voice - it startles me. By the time I understand what I am seeing, they too have been consumed by static. The only voice I have heard - and it is gone. Is this an illusion, a holographic echo in the noise? Or the fragment of some lost reality? It does not matter. They are static now, like everything else.
